Google has been keeping very busy with updating its Chrome web browser and has today announced a new stable version 10–it’s been only a month since Google launched version 9 of Chrome and just three weeks since the latest beta release. The latest version, 10, of Chrome brings faster JavaScript performance making more complex websites faster.

In addition Google has finally simplified the settings interface. Clicking on the ‘wrench’ and then hitting options now brings you to a dedicated options tab where you can tweak the browser to your heart’s desire and also quickly search for specific settings. The latest version of Chrome now also allows you to securely synchronize passwords between computers by giving users the option to setup a separate passphrase. Google Docs editing on mobile devices now multilingual

El Goog has announced that you can now edit Google Docs from your smartphone/tablet in 44 languages in addition to English. Mobile editing is available for Android Froyo Devices and above (i.e. 2.2+) and iPhone and iPad devices with iOS 3.0 and above. Actually, as Google points out, editing could also work on earlier Android platforms such as Éclair but it’s not guaranteed; well ‘pruébalo’ and see.

To start editing enter docs.google.com in the address bar of your mobile browser and hit go; then select an existing document and press ‘Edit’ or hit the new button (marked as pen and paper) to start writing a new document.

Google’s human body anatomy application, Google Body, is now available for tablets running Android 3.0 (a.k.a. Honeycomb). If you are such a lucky individual put on your lab coat and enter the amazing and exciting world that is the human body. Unfortunately you cannot install it on your phone or any tablet not running 3.0 for the moment.

Google Nexus One Android Handset ~ Getting Gingerbread love

Anxious Nexus One owners are finally getting some official Gingerbread love with Android 2.3.3 now beginning to roll out as an over-the-air update. The Nexus One’s younger brother, the Nexus S is also joining in for the fun getting additional near-field communication (NFC) capabilities, such as the ability to write to rewritable NFC tags, while 2.3.3 also fixes a number of bugs such at the random reboots that had plagued the Nexus S.

This is the first update to Gingerbread for the Nexus One. News broke via Google’s Nexus official Twitter account ending months of ‘agony’ for Nexus One owners which saw their lovely handsets living in the shadow of the Nexus S, with Gingerbread having been promised to be ‘a few weeks’ away.
