Samsung Galaxy S III unboxing video

The Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone is said to hit retail stores on May 29th in Europe, but that didn’t stop an Italian blog from getting hold of a boxed unit now, and you know what this means, video action!

The video, which you’ll find embedded below, includes an unboxing of the most anticipated smartphone, well at least for this month, the 4.8-inch Android 4.0 Galaxy S III (SGS3). There’s also a pretty nice size comparison between the SGS3 and the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Nexus (which we’ve reviewed in great length here), Galaxy S II and the HTC One X and One S.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 unboxing photos

While the rest of the world is still holding its breath for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 digital camera, the Micro Four Thirds shooter has already started shipping in Asia.

A lucky Flickr user, Zetton Nara, just got his silver 12-50mm kit lens version delivered and was kind enough to post a couple of shots from the unboxing process.

You can check the full set of drool-worthy photos here, including a pairing of the E-M5 with the Olympus Four Thirds 50mm f/2 macro lens seen below.

3rd generation iPad box shot

Although Apple is keeping the new 3rd generation iPad (a.k.a. iPad 3) under lock and key until the official March 16 release date, a pair of Vietnamese tech journalists managed to snatch an early copy.

As normally happens in these cases, the pair has duly unboxed the new iPad, which is a 16GB 4G model by the way, in front of a camera and also ran a quick benchmark. No surprises with the unboxing, the new iPad comes in pretty much the same box as the iPad 2, and you still get a power adapter and a USB to 30 pin connector cable. But anyone anxious for some early retina display action is welcome to the 4 minute video just below, and we’re sure you won’t mind that it’s in Vietnamese.

Fujifilm X10

We won’t hide the fact that the “Fuji Guys” are our favorite internet duo. Billy and Greg are two people who obviously love their job, and who wouldn’t when that would entail getting your hands on the latest Fujifilm shooters and demonstrating them for the world to see. After their last 16 minute video demonstration of the new Fujifilm X10 high-end point-and-shoot camera, the Canadian pair returns with a painstakingly detailed unboxing video of the X10.

If you enjoy lusting over every piece of kit that comes with the X10 and of course the camera itself, you’ll find the video right after the break. As a reminder, the X10 is not a simple run-of-the-mill compact camera. It offers tons of controls, a manual 4x optical zoom f2.0-2.8 Fujinon lens, optical viewfinder, image stabilization, built-in ND filter, magnesium alloy body and a sexy retro design. The X10 is already up for sale for $599.

The full 6 plus minute unboxing video is after the break.
