Panasonic had its turn in the spotlight with the new GX1 Micro Four Thirds (MFT) digital camera, but now with all the attention the Olympus E-M5 is getting, it must be feeling left out.
So here comes Panasonic Spain teasing us on a potential new G series MFT camera. The tweet goes along the lines of no GX2 yet, but another G… enjoy the weekend!
. Though everything is pretty speculative right now, we could soon be looking to either a GH2, G3 or GF3 successor.
The GH2 is the oldest of the bunch, having been released back in September 2010, whereas the G3 was announced in May last year and the GF3 one month later, in June. Personally, I’m hoping for a GH3 with even more amazing video capabilities and better low light performace. Though we wouldn’t be surprised if we end with a new GF5 or even a G5 (assuming Panasonic would want to avoid the oh-so-unlucky number 4).
